Brief description of CCA
Rhythmic gymnastics is a graceful sport containing many dance and ballet characteristics and is performed to music using hand apparatus such as rope, ball, hoop, clubs and ribbon. The training focuses on 4 elements; strength, endurance, splits and flexibility.
CCA-specific objectives
- To inculcate values and personal qualities such as sportsmanship, discipline and resilience.
- To fulfil each member’s potential and identify pupils who are keen to move on to competitive level.
- All members to learn at least 1 routine (group freehand, rope) or cheer-leading dance.
