Singapore Kindness Movement

In line with our commitment to develop Flourishing Westwoodians, the Singapore Kindness Movement this year was taken to a deeper level with the collaboration of various members of the Westwoodian Community and beyond. We collaborated with the Singapore Kindness Movement Organisation to send completed Kindness Mission Cards done by our pupils. These missions included simple acts of kindness that pupils can perform at home, in school or in the community. The pupils were then awarded with gifts from Singa to further encourage them to “Dare to Care”.   Aside from these Kindness Missions, our Prefects also led special Kindness Projects to encourage our pupils to be kind to one another. Our pupils were engaged in different activities from making colorful paper rings, chatterboxes, bingo boxes, paper fans as well as decorating stones and gumball machines with meaningful kind messages to show appreciation for their friends, family, teachers and anyone in their community.
